Technical Characteristics

Tractor side terminal

 

The terminal on the side of the tractor is coupled to the tractor's Power Take-Off (PTO), which has its dimensions standardized by international standards (DIN 9611). The figure below shows all the possible dimensions foreseen in the standard.

Implement side terminal

 

The terminal on the side of the implement is not standardized and, for this reason, there are several types of fastening systems for the cardan shaft to the implement, such as smooth shaft, smooth shaft with keyway, splined shaft, flanges, hexagon shaft, among others.

Thus, regardless of the type of axle the implement has, the terminal can be fixed using several devices, the most common of which are:

  • quick coupling
  • lateral screw fixation without interference
  • side screw fixation with interference
  • cross hole with thread
  • cross hole without thread
  • flanged terminal
