History
AEMCO

To diversify the activities of the Colombo family, which until then had focused exclusively on manufacturing peanut and bean harvesting machines, in 1982 the AEMCO (Electric and Mechanic Apparatus Colombo) factory for welding was created.

After a year in this activity, the vision of its entrepreneurs identified the emergence of a strong demand for agricultural cardans and, from then on, with the philosophy of meeting all the needs and specifications of its customers, AEMCO ended its welding activity and definitively started supplying cardans for the agricultural machinery industry and spare parts for retail.

Continuing with its strategy of consistent and diversified growth, in 1984 the company COTRAME – Colombo Metal Transformations – was founded, initially aiming only at meeting the needs of supplying crossheads for AEMCO.

In 1993, strategically, there was the unification of the sales, distribution, and technical assistance departments of AEMCO and COTRAME, directly benefiting their clients through greater agility and quality of services.

With a focus on quality, from 1994 onwards, AEMCO launched an investment process in the automation of its production line with the acquisition of new and modern machines and has a strong Product Engineering team that develops the most complete line of cardans, joints, terminals, flanges, and safety devices on the Brazilian market.

In 2009, AEMCO expanded its product portfolio, developing transmission boxes for various agricultural applications and launching the first rotary transmission box for the Brazilian market. With this release, AEMCO has remained at the forefront of technology in the industry.
