In 1975 the Colombo brothers made a small stationary threshing machine for peanuts with the aim of developing a system to speed up manual harvesting. From this moment MIAC – Maquinas e Implementos Agrícolas Colombo (Colombo Agricultural Machinery and Implements) was born, and it continued to grow as it developed machinery of all sizes for harvesting peanuts, beans, and most recently for arabica and robusta coffee.

With constant investment in quality and innovation, MIAC has become the reference for harvesters in the Brazilian market and has also conquered the international market by developing and exporting machinery to every continent.
